EP 286 Year in Review: Celebrating Successes and Milestones

Reflecting on a Transformative Year 

This year has been monumental for my business and personal growth. As we wrap up the final episode of the year, it’s a perfect opportunity to dive into the wins, lessons learned, and the significant pivots that shaped this year. Grab a cozy spot and a warm cup of tea or coffee, and maybe a journal to jot down your reflections as I share mine. 

Celebrating Business Milestones 

Launch Team 

One of my proudest achievements this year has been the successful launch of the Launch Team. Born out of a desire to alleviate the overwhelm entrepreneurs face when launching, the Launch Team became an extension of their own endeavors. The program has already exceeded expectations, and I am eager to see how it will evolve in the coming year. 

Record-Breaking Sales 

This year’s Black Friday marked a milestone with our biggest sale yet. Implementing a 12 Days of Deals campaign allowed us to deeply engage with our community and offer tailored solutions that truly resonated with our audience. 

The Role of Affiliate Sales 

Another surprising win was the significant revenue from affiliate sales, accounting for a quarter of my income. By aligning with products and services I genuinely use and believe in, this stream emerged naturally by incorporating them into conversations about my tech stack. 

 Embracing Change 

A notable shift was deciding to sunset the live component of our book club. While it was a cherished endeavor, prioritizing larger projects necessitated this change, allowing me to focus on growing Launch Team and expanding my consulting services. 

Personal Growth and Wins 

On a personal front, introducing a daily meditation practice has been transformative. While not perfect, this practice has brought mindfulness, peace, and presence into my daily routine. 

Resilience in Adversity 

This year also tested me personally when my beloved boxer pup, Parker, faced a life-threatening health crisis. Her miraculous recovery is a testament to resilience and hope. 

Non-Profit Achievements 

Founding the Joy Ride Society, a giving circle committed to community empowerment, was a dream realized. This year, we embarked on a significant project to build a school in Guatemala, which broke ground in November, marking a collective achievement that I’m immensely proud of. 

Lessons Learned 

This year underscored that progress isn’t synonymous with hustle. Embracing a more flexible goal-setting framework that surpasses traditional SMART goals allowed for a broader vision and more impactful growth, not only for myself but also for my clients. 

Looking Toward the Future 

As I set my sights on the year ahead, I’m excited about expanding the Launch Team, broadening consulting services, and continuing to find ways to support you all.
